Micron 30 is lightweight, has a durable exterior and a soft and comfortable lining on the body. It keeps you warm to just around freezing and is a really good option for the bike ride or hike when you need to stay warm on frosty nights.

For those really cold nights, you’ll thank the hood, which uses more chambers to keep the down in place and avoid so-called “cold spots,” and the toe box, which has a pocket specifically for heating bags. Instead, when it gets warmer, the full-length zipper provides good ventilation as the pocket opens well, and with an additional zipper on the right side you get extra ventilation and freedom of movement for your arms.

The 650 fillpower down is impregnated with Down Defender, which allows the normally moisture-sensitive down to repel water and retain its insulating properties.
